From the vibrant colors of Latin America to the lyricism of German Romanticism and the symphonic brilliance of nineteenth-century France, this program showcases three distinctive musical voices. Aaron Copland's Three Latin-American Sketches, Mendelssohn's beloved Violin Concerto in e minor, with guest soloist Solomiya Ivakhiv, and Louise Farrenc's powerful Symphony No. 2.
