Penn State Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils represent 2 of the governing councils for the university’s sororities and fraternities. The Panhellenic Council (PHC) oversees 21 sororities, promoting leadership, scholarship, service, and sisterhood. The Interfraternity Council (IFC) governs 35 fraternities, focusing on brotherhood, community involvement, and academic excellence. Together, PHC and IFC work to strengthen the Greek community, foster positive relationships across campus and the State College community, and uphold the shared values of fraternity and sorority life.
